Ash & Cedar Co. started the way most good things do — as a hobby we couldn't put down. What began as a few candles poured on a kitchen counter has grown into something we're genuinely proud of, but the way we make them hasn't changed.

Every candle is still hand-poured, one batch at a time. We use a coconut-soy wax blend because it burns clean and slow, without the soot or synthetic residue you get from paraffin. We scent each batch with real fragrance oils with essential oil bases and finish every candle with a 100% cotton wick, so what you're breathing in is just the scent, nothing else.

No lead. No phthalates. No shortcuts.

Because we make everything in small batches, we're able to actually pay attention — testing pour temperatures, checking cure times, making sure every jar that leaves our hands is one we'd want in our own home. It's slower this way, but it's the only way we've ever wanted to do it.

We're a small, husband-and-wife run candle company based in Idaho, and we love every part of this — from the first pour to the moment you light the wick.
